Deelnemers die in aanmerking komen, nemen deel aan een behandelingsperiode van de studie van 15 weken. Deelnemers worden willekeurig toegewezen aan het krijgen van een vloeibare samenstelling van het studiegeneesmiddel of de placebo. De placebo zal eruitzien en smaken als het studiegeneesmiddel dat in de klinische studie wordt getest, maar bevat geen actieve bestanddelen. <\/p>\n
Tijdens de studie leggen deelnemers naar verwachting ten minste zes bezoeken aan het studiecentrum af voor tests en evaluaties, en hebben zij drie telefonische afspraken om de voortgang te beoordelen. Deelnemers of verzorgers moeten tijdens de hele studie elektronische dagboeken bijhouden. <\/p>\n
